FAQ

Common questions about exams and terminal reports

Can we use our school's own report card layout?

Yes. Reports are generated on a template carrying your school's name, crest and the fields you use (attendance, remarks, next term dates, fees due, and so on). During onboarding we match it to the report your parents already know.

Does Stellar EMS support continuous assessment weighting?

Yes. You define how class scores and exam scores combine into the final mark for each level — for example 30% CA and 70% exam — and the system applies it consistently for every subject and pupil.

How does the headmaster sign-off work?

Once class teachers mark reports as ready, the head (or a delegated administrator) reviews and approves them. Approval locks the reports so they cannot be altered, and only approved reports are printed or published to parents.

Can parents get results on their phone?

Yes. When reports are published, parents receive an SMS alert and can view or download the report card in the parent portal. Schools choose whether reports are released to all parents or only to those with fees fully paid.
